Day 3: When the Weather Plays Hide-and-Seek (and We Chase Sunsets)
 
Siquijor, you fickle island, you! Day 3 started off with a promise of adventure, but Mother Nature had other plans. We woke up to a sky that looked like it was trying to decide whether to rain or shine, and we decided to play it by ear.
 
First stop: BuCafe for breakfast. Their breakfast menu is a delicious mix of Filipino and Western favorites, and we were ready to fuel up for a day of exploring. The coffee was strong, the food was satisfying, and the atmosphere was cozy. We were feeling good!
 
Next on the agenda: Kawayan Resort. We'd heard great things about their beach, and we were eager to soak up some sun. But as we arrived, we were met with a closed gate and a sign that read "Closed due to weather." We were a little bummed, but we weren't about to let a little rain dampen our spirits.
 
We decided to head to Paliton Beach, another beautiful spot on the island. But the weather gods were clearly playing hide-and-seek with us. The moment we arrived, the clouds rolled in, and the rain started to fall. We quickly changed locations, seeking shelter from the downpour.
 
Finally, we found ourselves at Port Beach, a secluded spot with crystal-clear water and soft sand. The sun even peeked out from behind the clouds for a few minutes, giving us a glimpse of the paradise we were hoping for.
 
We spent the afternoon at Coco Grove, a beautiful resort with a stunning beach and a relaxed vibe. We enjoyed the gloomy sky and windy conditions, the sound of the waves crashing on the shore, and the delicious food at their restaurant.
 
By 5pm, we were ready to head back to the hotel to freshen up. We were exhausted from our day of chasing the sun, but we were also happy. Siquijor had a way of making you feel like you were on a constant adventure, even when the weather wasn't cooperating.

Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Baguio Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Baguio was the first tourist spot I visited in this humble city. I went there last 2008 with my college friends and I really enjoyed our short stay there. There is no restriction in visiting the area. However, due to its gaining popularity they implemented policies that may annoy some first time travelers.  All visitors entering PMA must have individual valid IDs. A person without a valid ID can't enter PMA. If you're in a group and you don't have ID, you will be instructed to get off the jeepney at the gate and wait for your companions with IDs while they're enjoying the tour. Also, wearing slippers is a big no-no when you wanted to enter its premises. Even though you are wearing your expensive flip-flops the security personnel won't show any mercy and you may be force to await your companion at the gate. Pundaquit Beach Zambales Pundaquit, or Pandakit is in San Antonio Zambales, a small fishing village on an attractive bay with a long white sand beach. It is a small barrio next to a glorious South China Sea and surrounded by paramount mountains. It is home to many fishermen as several boats lined their beach. The sun was glaring as I tried to take in the striking surroundings. The beach was very clean, unlike some of Subic's beaches I visited before.   I was really confused if Cove and Island is the same but according to my research A cove is a small type of bay or coastal inlet. Coves usually have narrow, restricted entrances, are often circular or oval, and are often situated within a larger bay. So definitely, we are not going to ride a boat just to get there.  It took us four hour of bumpy ride to finally reach Subic Olongapo and another hour to get to San Antonio Zambales with just 2 hours of slow traffic and the difference is our total travel time.
