I ♥ Botanical Garden Baguio 12/12/2010

Baguio Botanical Garden     Botanical Garden is also known as the Igorot village. It is the place where you can see the Native Nipa huts where the Igorot people live. It’s a very tranquil and relaxing place. We were welcome by the “Builders of Baguio” monument stands her to commemorate the city’s founding in 1908.   The park also showcases the city’s rich flora & fauna, and serves as a site of cultural activities. Tourists can frequently take pictures with the Igorot tribesmen dressed in their traditional native dress. If you want to pose with the natives, make sure that you're able to communicate with them about the payment fee first, before taking your photos- It really annoys me when you experience greedy commercialization in certain places.  There is no entrance fee in the park so you can enjoy walking here without paying extra. The place is so huge and you can really smell the freshness of the garden. You are going to see more flowers, plants, some high statue

I ♥ Halsema Highway - Baguio-Bontoc Road 01/20-22/12

Enjoy arriving at the destination, but, by all means, enjoy the journey. Fresh from a long ride from Manila to Baguio we headed to Dangwa Bus Terminal to reserve a seat going to Sagada. It was around 9am and the place were already packed with a large number of tourists. After waiting for almost 2 hours for the next bus, we finally able to board and start our Sagada  Adventure. A fare to Sagad is 220 pesos and the ride is such a fun experience.   We are going to take the Halsema Highway which is the highest highway in the Philippines and is one of the most scenic drives one can experience in the Philippines. I is also considered one of the most dangerous highways in the world. Everyday, commuters, transporters, tourists, and residents coming from Baguio or Mt. Province take this route without a safety guard rail.  The road Was opened in 1930 as led by Engineer Euseibus Julius Halsema of whom this highway was named after. He was also Baguio city's mayor during

I ♥ Sagada, Mountain Province 01/20-22/12

One of the best place to unwind and get away from stress and be close to nature. The place is very solemn and price is definitely affordable. The roads leading to Sagada seems endless but 12 ours of travel from manila is all worth it.  There's a lot of activities to choose from , variety of good food , & nature of course. Most of the hotel rooms and inns were fully booked? better book a reservation to make sure that you will a place to stay.  Do not compromise your own security because there are things that don't go according to plan. You have to be extra careful with door and window locks and leaving your things behind.  I  would recommend Sagada to all nature loving people who loves sight seeing and very long, long, long travel.

I ❤️ Sumaging Cave - Sagada (2012) - January 26, 2012

We reached Sagada at approximately 3pm after a 12-hour road trip from Manila. This was my first time traveling such a long distance on a bus, and I must say, it was an experience I can take pride in. Initially, I had the impression that the only notable sight in Mountain Province would be the rice terraces, but I was pleasantly surprised. In Sagada, Mountain Province, there is one place that should definitely not be overlooked - Sumaging Cave. Sumaging Cave is a highly sought-after tourist destination and is widely regarded as one of the top caves in Sagada. Referred to as the "Big Cave," it played a crucial role as a sanctuary for Filipino soldiers during World War II, providing shelter from the Japanese guerrillas. This cave is connected to other caves in Sagada, including the Lumiang Cave, and typically requires approximately 2 to 3 hours to fully explore. The registration fee for visitors is P10.00 per person, while the guide fee ranges from P250
