Gen. Nakar - A n Eye Opener Traveling is a wonderful experience, you can be in one side of the planet one moment and find yourself on the other side of the world in a few hours. But as with anything traveling too comes with its   benefits and dangers. One thing to remember is that in today’s world, there is no place on the entire earth that is perfectly safe. No matter where you go you could be hit with crime, terrorism, natural disaster or some other calamity. Traveling to a remote land is exciting as well as risky. The reasons for excitement and risk are the same - new places, new people, etc. If you are planning to make a foreign trip in the near future and do not want to become a victim of violence or face unwanted situations and difficulties. You must be very careful and try to read through the travel article to know some safety tips for traveling .  My story starts with a typical group of friends planning to go to a friend's hometown to have a weekend getaw

Batis Aramin Lucban Quezon Batis Aramin Resort, Hotel and Adventure Camp is just one of the few resorts near my hometown Tayabas, Quezon. We went there when we visited the well-known Catholic Pilgrimage site called “Kamay ni Hesus” which lies on the foot of Mt. Banahaw last 2011. You won't be lost to find the place because it is just on the other side of the popular retreat camp Kamay ni Hesus which is located in Malupak, Lucban Quezon. We don't have enough money to pay the 100 pesos entrance fee but because we wanted to explore the place we just made an alibi to the security personnel that we just wanted to do an ocular visit and see if we wanted to stay. The security personnel was very kind and he let the 5 of us enter the vicinity we just left our ID's for record updating.  There were a lot of guess that time. I saw a lot of private cars with LaSalle University stickers probably they rented the place for retreat. I never expected the resort to be so beautif

I ♥ Puting Buhangin Pagbilao - Quezon (2012) - 09/29/2012

I always pray for good weather when planning an out-of-town trip, as a typhoon can easily disrupt carefully planned travels. Fortunately, when we visited Puting Buhangin in Pagbilao, Quezon, the weather remained clear. I had been longing to visit this place since last year, but unforeseen circumstances always led to cancellations. Growing up in Quezon province, I felt a deep connection to this destination and wanted to appreciate the beauty of my hometown.   Initially, I had planned a solo backpacking trip and shared my travel plans online out of excitement. That's when I received a message from Mac, who expressed curiosity about my travels. I proposed the idea of going together to Puting Buhangin to cut down on expenses. Without hesitation, Mac agreed to join me on this adventure.   On the day of the tour, heavy rain poured down, making me fear that the trip would once again be cancelled. I reached out to Mac via SMS to confirm if he still wanted to go. If he had changed his mind

At top of the hill, is the50-foot image  of the Resurrected Christ. Kamay Ni Hesus Shrine is situated on the slopes of Mt. Banahaw, on Barangay Tinamnan, Lucban, Quezon  where a church is also located. The shrine is widely known to all catholic devotees and are visited during Holy Week and during pahiyas festival. It was a 292 steps to the top. On the way up, life-size statues depicting the 14 Stations of the Cross is displayed till you reach the summit and the 50-foot statue of the Ascending Christ —(the third biggest in the world). Noah's Ark-themed playground is also available in the area making it great for family trips. This park is conveniently situated at the back of the healing center and church. the Noah’s Ark which serves as a place of prayer and meditation. This house of prayer has fully furnished air conditioned rooms for pilgrims and those who are attending retreats. It was very tourist friendly to go to Kamay ni Hesus since we ar
