Kamay Ni Hesus Shrine is situated on the slopes of Mt. Banahaw, on Barangay Tinamnan, Lucban, Quezon  where a church is also located. The shrine is widely known to all catholic devotees and are visited during Holy Week and during pahiyas festival.




 It was a 292 steps to the top. On the way up, life-size statues depicting the 14 Stations of the Cross is displayed till you reach the summit and the 50-foot statue of the Ascending Christ —(the third biggest in the world).

 Noah's Ark-themed playground is also available in the area making it great for family trips. This park is conveniently situated at the back of the healing center and church. the Noah’s Ark which serves as a place of prayer and meditation. This house of prayer has fully furnished air conditioned rooms for pilgrims and those who are attending retreats.

It was very tourist friendly to go to Kamay ni Hesus since we arrived there smoothly and hassle-free. The experience was indescribable. It was ecstatic and fulfilling once you've reached the top.




If you want to reflect, soul-search, or simply pray through the giant stations of the cross, I recommend that you take a vigil up Kamay ni Hesus Grotto.




How Do we Get There?




The most convenient way of getting to Kamay ni Hesus via Public Transport




1. For typical commuters from Manila, just take any Bus bound to Lucena at LRT buendia Bus Terminal on Taft Avenue, Cubao Bus Terminal or Muntinlupa Alabang Bus Terminal. Fare is 230 pesos air-conditioned.

The place is full of statues and scenes depicting biblical scenarios 
2. You need to get to Grand Central Terminal. You will pass other provinces like, Laguna and Batangas along the way. The trip is approximately 3 hours from starting point. There is one stop over in Laguna.


3. Once you reached Lucena, transfer on a jeepney bound to Lucban and ask the driver to perch you at Kamay ni Hesus Shrine. Fare is 15 pesos.

Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Baguio Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Baguio was the first tourist spot I visited in this humble city. I went there last 2008 with my college friends and I really enjoyed our short stay there. There is no restriction in visiting the area. However, due to its gaining popularity they implemented policies that may annoy some first time travelers.  All visitors entering PMA must have individual valid IDs. A person without a valid ID can't enter PMA. If you're in a group and you don't have ID, you will be instructed to get off the jeepney at the gate and wait for your companions with IDs while they're enjoying the tour. Also, wearing slippers is a big no-no when you wanted to enter its premises. Even though you are wearing your expensive flip-flops the security personnel won't show any mercy and you may be force to await your companion at the gate.   Batis Aramin Lucban Quezon Batis Aramin Resort, Hotel and Adventure Camp is just one of the few resorts near my hometown Tayabas, Quezon. We went there when we visited the well-known Catholic Pilgrimage site called “Kamay ni Hesus” which lies on the foot of Mt. Banahaw last 2011. You won't be lost to find the place because it is just on the other side of the popular retreat camp Kamay ni Hesus which is located in Malupak, Lucban Quezon. We don't have enough money to pay the 100 pesos entrance fee but because we wanted to explore the place we just made an alibi to the security personnel that we just wanted to do an ocular visit and see if we wanted to stay. The security personnel was very kind and he let the 5 of us enter the vicinity we just left our ID's for record updating.  There were a lot of guess that time.
