I ❤️ Boracay 2024 - Day 1 - Boracay Eats - 11/15/2024

Boracay 2024 Travel Blog - Day 1: A Culinary Adventure   Boracay, you beautiful beach bum! Day one, and already my stomach is doing the happy dance. Forget the check-in woes at Hue Hotel (more on that later, maybe…), because let's be honest, the real adventure started the moment we smelled the sizzling goodness of Island Chicken Inasal Boracay.   This TikTok-famous joint at Station 1? Legit. The staff were so friendly, I half-expected them to offer me a free massage along with my chicken inasal. Okay, maybe not, but they were that charming. The menu was ridiculously affordable, which is always a plus when you're battling the Boracay prices. We opted for the classic chicken inasal (perfectly grilled, juicy, and flavorful – a 10/10!) and a bowl of kansi (sour beef soup). Now, I’m not usually a soup person, but this kansi was a revelation. It was like a warm hug from a Filipino grandma, all tangy and comforting. A perfect start to our Boracay food fest! ...

I ❤️ Boracay 2024 - Day 1 - Cavite to NAIA 3 - 11/15/2024

A Dawn Departure for Paradise: Embracing the Unexpected on Our Boracay Adventure   The alarm clock shrieked at 5:00 AM, a jarring reminder that our long-awaited Boracay trip was finally upon us.  Despite the early hour, a sense of excitement buzzed through the air, a potent mix of anticipation and nervous energy.  We had a flight to catch, a paradise to reach, and a typhoon named Pepito lurking on the horizon.   Our first hurdle was the journey to the airport.  We opted for a Grab taxi, a familiar and convenient choice in Manila.  The early morning air was refreshingly cool, a welcome respite from the usual urban heat.  The traffic, surprisingly, was smooth, a pleasant change from the usual chaotic dance of vehicles.   As we sped through the city, the sky began to paint itself with hues of orange and pink, a breathtaking sunrise that mirrored the excitement bubbling within us.  We reached NAIA 3 airport at 6:00 AM, a m...

I ❤️ Siquijor 2024 - Day 2 - Wet Tour - 09/12/2024

The Wet Tour: A Siquijor Day Drenched in Adventure (and Rain)   Day two in Siquijor was a testament to the island's unpredictable charm. We dubbed it "The Wet Tour" for good reason - the heavens opened up with a ferocity that would make Noah jealous. But let me tell you, even a torrential downpour couldn't dampen our spirits (pun intended).   Our day began with the usual suspects: sunrise, beach, and a healthy dose of caffeine. But the moment we stepped out of our hotel, the sky unleashed a deluge that would make even the most seasoned sailor reach for their life jackets. Undeterred, we hopped into our trusty jeepney, a rickety chariot that braved the onslaught with the gusto of a seasoned warrior.   First stop: Pitogo Cliff. The panoramic views were breathtaking, even through the misty rain. We braved the wind and the downpour, snapping photos with the gusto of a group of kids on a sugar rush. Our next destination, Cambugahay Falls...

I ❤️ El Nido Palawan 2024 - 05/03/2024 - Day 1

🌴 Elnido Palawan 2024: DAY 1 - Puerto Princesa - 05/03/2024 🌴   What a journey it has been! Our adventure started from the comforts of our home in Imus, hopping on a trike that took us to the bus terminal. A relaxing bus ride to PITX followed, and from there, a mini-bus took us to NAIA 3.   As we waited for our flight, we indulged in an early dinner at none other than Jollibee in NAIA 3. The classic flavors never disappoint!   Finally, the time came for us to board our flight, departing from NAIA 3 and heading towards Palawan Terminal. We couldn't contain our excitement as we landed in the beautiful paradise of Palawan.   Upon arrival at Palawan Terminal, we hopped on a trike and made our way to the cozy Tenzai Homestay Palawan. The warm hospitality and comfortable accommodation made us feel right at home.   With our hunger calling, we ventured to Chaolong Restaurant for a delightful dinner. The flavors of Palawan cuisine truly tantalized our taste buds and le...

I ♥ Ocean Park Hong Kong 03-03-2013

Image
Ocean Park Hong Kong Ocean Park Hong Kong - located at Aberdeen, Hong Kong cannot be compared to Enchanted Kingdom in the Philippines because Ocean Park Hong Kong is much bigger and you won't finish visiting all the rides and amusement in one day. Plus, based on our experience, we end with a sore feet trekking the park.  Ocean Park is divided into two areas - The Waterfront and The Summit. Both these areas are separated by a mountain. To get from The Waterfront to The Summit and vice versa, there are two modes of transportation - either the cable car or the Ocean Express train. First thing we visited was the Giant Aquarium, The Atoll Reef. It is a four-storey high aquarium holding more than 2,000 fish from 250 different species, including the Black Spotted Sting Ray, for which a second generation was successfully bred at Ocean Park. My eyes was filled with amazement while I walk towards the big caverns full with different species of aquatic animals. Next stop was a visit ...

I ♥ Venetian Hotel and Resort Macau 03/03/2013

Venetian Hotel and Resort Macau If you wanted a piece of Italy, the deluxe hotel and casino in Macau may be the perfect destination. The Venetian Macau The Venetian Macau is the 40-story, $1.8 billion anchor for the 7 upcoming hotels to be constructed on the Cotai Strip. From Sands Macua we took the bus bound to Venetian Resort and it is FREE!!!  We went there on a weekend so the crowds are denser. There were just too many people at the hotel. Of course, there were the usual gamblers, people on special organized tours, locals and people like us who were just following the crowd. After following the crowd for a good ten minutes, we finally arrived in the great hall and were greeted by a sweet pleasant voice. Everywhere we look is a replica of Venice, canals and all. I was in awe seeing the painted “venetian” sky. It’s truly breathtaking and at first glance you’d think it’s the real deal. It was an astonishing architecture. The painting on wall and ceiling painting was pretty...
