I ♥ Regal Business Park Cebu City 11/05/2011

Image
We stayed in Regal Business Inn during my second trip in Cebu City. We were a group of 12 people so we booked 3 rooms. I had a very good impression when I saw the hotel.  It is located next to Ayala Center Cebu which is excellent. The hotel is very accessible especially if you are going to stay in Cebu for a long time.  I really like the attitude of their staffs they were very friendly and warm being. We were greeted by a very friendly security guy and the receptionists were all pleasant. The hotel, whilst not the newest and most modern is still clean and presentable enough. There were some things that needed improvement though like their elevator and smoking area but of course the room is the most important thing.   The rooms that were assigned to us had nice big windows. The rooms were very spacious with Cable T.V and hot/cold shower. The bed and sheets were clean and comfortable. However, the hotel is in the middle of the city so you’ll expect the noise outside from ongoing

I ♥ Sunbloom Resort Potipot Zambales 09/09/2011

Sunbloom Resort is just one of the many resorts in Potipot . It is located along the shoreline of Barangay Uacon in Candelaria, Zambales. The resort is very charming the offers gentle hospitality and tranquility for that perfect escape that you’ve been longing for. One thing I notice is the Spanish influence in its architecture. I think that it’s an old Mansion turn into a resort hotel. They don’t allow pets unless it’s caged. They also have a huge parking space so its good for groups that will bring private cars. I feel so secure in the area and It feels like home. They have picnic tables for rent for day trippers but free for those staying for a night. Their view deck gives a perfect sight of Potipot Island.    With rooms at Php1200 good for 4 pax, their rooms have a/c and fan, two double comfortable beds, rattan sofa-bed and really clean toilets with complimentary towels & soap but without hot & cold shower though.  All rooms look the same, with same amenities,

I ♥ Crystal Cave Transient Houses Baguio 12/13/2010

Image
Baguio City is known for its transient houses for travelers who wanted to find value for money. The first time I set foot in the beautiful city of Baguio I was welcome by a very cozy transient home in Crystal Cave.  Although it’s my first time I feel that I am in a very special place. We were welcome by the Filipina owner and her foreigner husband. They were very friendly and accommodating.   We booked the 3rd level of their apartment-type transient. The place is so huge and their units can accommodate groups of 5 to 20 at very low cost. Each room comes with its own cooking implements like stove, pots, among others and is fully furnished down to the rest room located near the kitchen.   The units are all housed in a huge condo-type apartment enclosed in a large gate. Security is not really an issue since there are CCTV cameras everywhere. If you plan on driving up north, the place can accommodate your car for parking.   We had a great time staying here however there are some th

I ♥ Tamaraw and White Beach Oriental Mindoro 19/29/2011

Puerto Galera is a tourist favorite for its numerous beaches, snorkeling spots, and diving destinations. Aside from the most popular beach here “White Beach” one can also try the beauty of Tamarraw beach which is just a five-minute walk from Puerto Galera’s White Beach.     If you are already fed up with the crowd of people this is the right place for still quietness. The quiet and private beach front is what captivated us in this resort.     It is also an easy access to Aninuan falls if you plan to go there by walking. The only resort in its area is exclusively owned by Tamaraw Beach Resort. If the resorts in white beach were already fully booked you can try to scout for a vacant room here and enjoy the privacy of the area. We asked about the hotel accommodations here and it’s a bit pricey compared to the hotels from white beach. The experience in the hotel boasting relaxing beachfront accommodations will not turn you off spending a bit. This is the best place to view the

I ♥ Enchanted Cave, Bolinao Pangasinan 03/05/2011

I am not a fan of cave exploring. It is dark, wet, dirty, crawling with creatures, dangerous and is not safe for equipment. There is something inside the cave that is very mysterious. The eerie silence and droplets of water from stalactites makes me think something unknown is lurking inside. But whenever my itchy feet tells me to be a bit adventurous I will always try something new, that’s what I just did in Bolinao, Pangasinan. I thought that we were just going to Bolinao to enjoy the beach but to my surprise Bolinao is also famous for its caves. A friend is celebrating her birthday and asked us to celebrate with her in Patar Bolinao Pangasinan. We had a great time on our first day partying on the resort hotel we rented and visiting the caves of Bolinao will be our next itinerary.  We rented a van so going to different places wouldn’t be a hassle.    Our first stop after eating breakfast is Enchanted Cave. It is just a 20 minute ride from our hotel. It is the largest cave among
