I ♥ Tlisayen Cove Zambales 03/27/2011

Talisayen Cove Zambales  It's been two years already since I last saw my college friends and I guess the last one was during our graduation. So this trip to Talisayen Cove was a great time for us to mingle and catch up with everyone. We’ve decided to meet in Cubao Terminal around four in the morning. I texted all of our friends for the said get together. However, not everyone showed up. We decided that even if we were not complete the trip will still push thru rain or shine. We rode the Victory Liner air-conditioned bus bound to Iba Zambales and just asked the conductor to drop us in San Antonio Zambales - the jump off point going to Talisayen cove. I never thought that Zambales have a lot of beautiful beaches to offer. The infamous tragedy that happened here in 1991 when Mount Pinatubo erupted drastically changed the geological face of Zambales. Who would have thought that something remarkably beautiful will emerge after the tragedy? Today, tourist and adventurers are tra

I ♥ Pundaquit Zambales 03/27/2011

Pundaquit Beach Zambales Pundaquit, or Pandakit is in San Antonio Zambales, a small fishing village on an attractive bay with a long white sand beach. It is a small barrio next to a glorious South China Sea and surrounded by paramount mountains. It is home to many fishermen as several boats lined their beach. The sun was glaring as I tried to take in the striking surroundings. The beach was very clean, unlike some of Subic's beaches I visited before.   I was really confused if Cove and Island is the same but according to my research A cove is a small type of bay or coastal inlet. Coves usually have narrow, restricted entrances, are often circular or oval, and are often situated within a larger bay. So definitely, we are not going to ride a boat just to get there.  It took us four hour of bumpy ride to finally reach Subic Olongapo and another hour to get to San Antonio Zambales with just 2 hours of slow traffic and the difference is our total travel time. We don't

In Filipino culture, travelling is always done in groups because you'll save a lot of time and money, but there will always be a time in your life that you wanted to travel alone. I've never been able to travel alone and I'm really curious experiencing it. I really think that a solo travel brings its own set of joys and challenges that will eventually leads to an extra-ordinary experience. I was lucky because a friend invited me to visit their place in Agoo La Union. It's been a while now since I traveled to a different place and I can't resist the free invite. I will be their guest and with free food and a bed to sleep on, how can I reject such offer? The only problem is that I don't have someone who can go with me. Because my feet were really itching for my next adventure I accepted his offer and filed the necessary vacation leaves I needed. I already prepared the things that I need for the said travel so after my shift ended, I said my goodbyes to my frie
