🌴 Elnido Palawan 2024: DAY 1 - Puerto Princesa - 05/03/2024 🌴   What a journey it has been! Our adventure started from the comforts of our home in Imus, hopping on a trike that took us to the bus terminal. A relaxing bus ride to PITX followed, and from there, a mini-bus took us to NAIA 3.   As we waited for our flight, we indulged in an early dinner at none other than Jollibee in NAIA 3. The classic flavors never disappoint!   Finally, the time came for us to board our flight, departing from NAIA 3 and heading towards Palawan Terminal. We couldn't contain our excitement as we landed in the beautiful paradise of Palawan.   Upon arrival at Palawan Terminal, we hopped on a trike and made our way to the cozy Tenzai Homestay Palawan. The warm hospitality and comfortable accommodation made us feel right at home.   With our hunger calling, we ventured to Chaolong Restaurant for a delightful dinner. The flavors of Palawan cuisine truly tantalized our taste buds and left us wanting more.

Balabac 2024 Day 1: A Journey of Travels and Unexpected Adventures   Date: 04/12/2024   Greetings, fellow adventurers! Join me as I embark on an unforgettable journey to Balabac Palawan, a hidden gem in the Philippines. Day 1 of this exciting trip was filled with bus rides, delectable meals, unexpected power outages, and unforgettable experiences. Let's dive into the highlights of the day!   The day began with an early morning bus ride from Cavite to PITX (Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange). As the sun rose, the anticipation for the adventures ahead grew stronger. From PITX, I hopped onto an Angkas motorcycle ride that swiftly took me to NAIA 3 (Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3). The wind on my face and the bustling cityscape provided the perfect backdrop for the start of my journey. Red   Since I had some time before my flight, I decided to grab lunch at Wendy's within NAIA 3. I met my friends here with a delicious chicken

I ♥ PMA BAguio City 12/12/2010

Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Baguio Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Baguio was the first tourist spot I visited in this humble city. I went there last 2008 with my college friends and I really enjoyed our short stay there. There is no restriction in visiting the area. However, due to its gaining popularity they implemented policies that may annoy some first time travelers.  All visitors entering PMA must have individual valid IDs. A person without a valid ID can't enter PMA. If you're in a group and you don't have ID, you will be instructed to get off the jeepney at the gate and wait for your companions with IDs while they're enjoying the tour. Also, wearing slippers is a big no-no when you wanted to enter its premises. Even though you are wearing your expensive flip-flops the security personnel won't show any mercy and you may be force to await your companion at the gate. They promote wearing shoes because people who wanted to visit the area shou

I ♥ Sabang Beach Palawan 06/08/12

Sabang Beach is the entrypoint if you plan to go to Underground Subterenean River in Palawan. Its a 2 and a half hour ride, 78 KM from town proper. But the view on your way there will surely make you forget the time and the distance spent. You can hire a tourist guide to get you there or if you're an adventurous type, try to find a Lexus Van for public transport in San Jose Bus Station. Just be sure to book your return trip back to puerto princesa or you'll end up booking in one the many hotels there.  Going to Sabang you'll pass the different tourist spot in Palawan. You'll pass by Honda Bay, Vietnamese Village, A white cross on top of a mountain, St. Paul limestone formation, and Ugong Rock Cafe. Sabang beach reminds me of Puerto Galera in Mindoro without the crowds and busy businesses. Palawan, particularly Sabang, is a remarkably beautiful.   How Do we Get There? The most convenient way of getting to Sabang Beach is via Lexus Van which is a

I ♥ Badjao Seafood Restaurant Palawan 06/08/12

Image
It was our 2nd day in the beautiful Island of Palawan and we need to eat something after the busy day we had in Sabang beach.  I asked a tricycle driver to bring us to a popular place to dine in Puerto Princesa. Without a second thought he recommended Badjao Seafront Restaurant which is located in Abueg Road, Puerto Princesa.  It is highly suggested that you make an arrangement with the tricycle driver and have it wait on you while you are eating because Abueg Road is quite far from the town proper.   They serve a lot of seafood dishes which are quite reasonable. I could say that Badjao has the best ambiance of all restaurants in Puerto Princesa though we went there at night.

I ♥ Baywalk Palawan 06/09/12

The final stop of our city tour was going to City Baywalk. The new park has a generous space for strolling and biking. There are few stalls around so better bring a bottled water if you wanted to stay and chill around. I think the place is much cozier at night because of the peacock lamp post. Our trike driver/tour guide explained the history of Puerto Princesa. It is said that Folk etymology attributes the name "Puerto Princesa" to a princess-like maiden who in the early days is said to have roamed around the place on certain nights of the year. Baywak is also considered the counterpart of the former Baywalk along Manila Bay. Strolling the place would be more ideal if it is done in early in the morning or just before sunset.
