Boracay 2024: Day 1 - The Great Plane Delay, or How We Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bus Ride   The air crackled with anticipation. It wasn't just the electricity in the air, though that was certainly present, thanks to the seemingly endless supply of outlets at NAIA 3. No, this was the kind of anticipation that only a travel blogger could truly understand. Boracay, here we come!   First things first: breakfast. We weren't exactly going for a Michelin-star experience, so Wendy's it was. Chicken and ice tea, a classic combo that would fuel our adventures. We were like seasoned explorers, fueled by fast food and dreams of white sand beaches.   Then came the dreaded wait. You know that feeling, right? The one where you're surrounded by a sea of people, all with the same destination, all buzzing with the same excitement, but the plane is nowhere to be seen. We were starting to think we'd be stuck in the airport for the rest of our l...

A Dawn Departure for Paradise: Embracing the Unexpected on Our Boracay Adventure   The alarm clock shrieked at 5:00 AM, a jarring reminder that our long-awaited Boracay trip was finally upon us.  Despite the early hour, a sense of excitement buzzed through the air, a potent mix of anticipation and nervous energy.  We had a flight to catch, a paradise to reach, and a typhoon named Pepito lurking on the horizon.   Our first hurdle was the journey to the airport.  We opted for a Grab taxi, a familiar and convenient choice in Manila.  The early morning air was refreshingly cool, a welcome respite from the usual urban heat.  The traffic, surprisingly, was smooth, a pleasant change from the usual chaotic dance of vehicles.   As we sped through the city, the sky began to paint itself with hues of orange and pink, a breathtaking sunrise that mirrored the excitement bubbling within us.  We reached NAIA 3 airport at 6:00 AM, a m...

Siquijor Sunshine Girls: Day 6 - Escape from Paradise - Break Through    The gods of travel must have heard our desperate prayers. After days of battling relentless rain and wind, the weather in Siquijor finally decided to play nice. We woke up at the ungodly hour of 2:30 am, feeling like zombies, only to be whisked away by our trusty tricycle to the Siquijor port.   It was 3 am, and the port was already buzzing with activity – a scene straight out of a zombie apocalypse, except instead of brains, everyone was after a coveted ferry ticket. Stranded tourists, their faces etched with a mixture of frustration and desperation, were camped out, determined to secure their escape from this idyllic island.   Now, you might think this sounds crazy, but trust me, this was the first time I’d ever wanted to leave an island during a vacation. The sheer tenacity of the other tourists, their unwavering desire to get off this "paradise," was contagious. W...

Siquijor 2024: Day 1 - From Manila Mayhem to Island Bliss 🌴☀️   Okay, so let's rewind to Day 1 in Siquijor. It was a long, chaotic, but ultimately rewarding journey! I'm talking about a 4am wake-up call, a crazy commute, and a whole lotta caffeine. But trust me, it was all worth it for the island paradise that awaited.   My adventure started in Imus, where I was up at the crack of dawn, ready to conquer the world (or at least, conquer the journey to Siquijor). First up, a 50 peso jeepney ride to PITX, the new bus terminal in Manila. I was already feeling the travel vibes, surrounded by people heading to different destinations.   After a quick breakfast at Jollibee (because who can resist those Chickenjoy!), I hopped on a Angkas Ride to NAIA for 90 pesos. I had a couple of hours to spare, so I just relaxed and soaked in the pre-travel jitters.   Finally, it was time to board my flight! I was so excited to finally...

I'm ready to trade the city's hustle and bustle for the island's laid-back vibes.   Siquijor, here I come! I'm ready to explore hidden beaches, dive into crystal-clear waters, and soak up the island's unique energy. Stay tuned for updates on my adventures!   #Siquijor2024 #IslandHopping #AdventureTime #Wanderlust #Philippines #TravelBlogger #Travelgram #ExploreTheWorld #NewAdventures #LetsGo #Dumaguete #OffToAdventure

Where to Next? Siquijor 2024, Here I Come!   Okay, so picture this: me, crammed onto a bus, heading to PITX. The air is thick with the smell of exhaust fumes and a mix of excitement and anticipation hangs heavy in the air. This is the start of something big, something I've been planning for months – a trip to Siquijor!   The bus journey felt like a million years, but finally, I arrived at PITX. The sheer scale of the place was overwhelming, but I navigated my way through the crowds, my heart pounding with a mix of nerves and excitement. My next stop? NAIA 3, and the only way to get there was via Angkas.   Where to next? Well, that's the beauty of it all, isn't it? The journey is just as important as the destination. I'm open to whatever comes my way, ready to embrace every moment, every new experience. Siquijor, I'm coming for you!   #Siquijor2024 #IslandHopping #AdventureTime #Wanderlust #Philippines #TravelBlogger #Travelgram #ExploreTheWorld #NewAd...

Balabac 2024 - Day 6: Farewell to Paradise   Date: 04/17/2024   Good morning, fellow adventurers! Day 6 marked the bittersweet end of our incredible Balabac journey. With the sun still hiding beneath the horizon, I woke up at 2 am to take a refreshing bath, preparing myself for the final day's adventures.   After bidding farewell to the beautiful Sicsican Island, we gathered for an early breakfast at 5:30 am, savoring the last moments on this tropical paradise. Energized and ready to embark on the journey back, we hopped on a thrilling speed boat ride, which took us on a one-hour journey from Sicsican Island back to Buliluyan Port.   Once we arrived at Buliluyan Port, we waited for a van was that will transfer us to Puerto Princesa, dropping us off at the bustling SM Palawan. The day began by indulging in an early lunch in Narra Palawan, filling our bellies with delightful local flavors.   To satisfy our beverage and sweet cravings, we stopped by Dunkin' Donuts ...
