Peak Tram Hong Kong The peak itself is a 5/5 must do experience but you would be better off catching the bus or if you are fit walking up to the peak. But I will definiely suggest to try it during summer because of poor visibility. It is  the fastest route at 10 minutes from the lower level terminus to the top. There are NO priority lanes.  When you get to the top, you then go up to the top floor of the tramway station, where the observation deck is. Looking down the steep hillside on Hong Kong, Victoria Harbour and Kownloon is spectacular, even when visibility is poor. If you like to hike or walk distances, you can then follow Lugard Road around the summit of the peak - it's about 6
