Puerto Galera is a tourist favorite for its numerous beaches, snorkeling spots, and diving destinations. Aside from the most popular beach here “White Beach” one can also try the beauty of Tamarraw beach which is just a five-minute walk from Puerto Galera’s White Beach.     If you are already fed up with the crowd of people this is the right place for still quietness. The quiet and private beach front is what captivated us in this resort.     It is also an easy access to Aninuan falls if you plan to go there by walking. The only resort in its area is exclusively owned by Tamaraw Beach Resort. If the resorts in white beach were already fully booked you can try to scout for a vacant room here and enjoy the privacy of the area. We asked about the hotel accommodations here and it’s a bit pricey compared to the hotels from white beach. The experience in the hotel boasting relaxing beachfront accommodations will not turn you off spending a bit. This is the best place to view the

We wanted to try something new in Puerto Galera so we decided to hike on of the local waterfalls there. Uninuan Waterfalls is located in Brgy. Uninuan just a stone throw away from white beach resort. . It is nestled at the foot of the towering Mt. Malasimbo and is under the vicinity of Brgy. Aninuan, hence the name Aninuan Falls. To get there we rode a tricycle to bring us to Brgy. Aninuan jump off point. We were greeted by a local tour guide asking for a fee but because we are feeling a bit adventurous we opt to hike for one hour.   Going to Aninuan falls can be tricky because there are a lot of ways branching to different communities in the area. We just follow some old trails and asked politely to locals to get there. We crossed the stream a lot of times and luckily we didn’t quit and continue walking. We finally reached the falls after an hour of spotting scattered trails.   We paid 20 pesos for the entrance fee. The sight of the waterfalls is not as grand as some falls in the

I always love travelling and adventure but the experience that I had with Batangas Port Shipping lines made me think that personal safety and hassle free journey is the most important thing in travelling. It all happens late summer of July. My cousin (Dhen) invited me to go with her co-workers in Puerto Galera to unwind.  I heard a lot of good reviews about this place and the people that have been there compared its beauty just like in Boracay. I said yes immediately and didn’t think twice, from then on, I already imagine myself partying on the beach.  We planned to go there during weekends and will meet at four in the morning. We haven’t eaten breakfast yet so we just ordered from a fast food chain and ate it inside the bus. We arrived in Batangas Port around nine in the morning and we were welcome by a packed of tourist and long lines. I was really excited at first but then I immediately notice the disorganized system that made me realize that this travel would be a stres
