I ♥ Botanical Garden Baguio 12/12/2010

Baguio Botanical Garden     Botanical Garden is also known as the Igorot village. It is the place where you can see the Native Nipa huts where the Igorot people live. It’s a very tranquil and relaxing place. We were welcome by the “Builders of Baguio” monument stands her to commemorate the city’s founding in 1908.   The park also showcases the city’s rich flora & fauna, and serves as a site of cultural activities. Tourists can frequently take pictures with the Igorot tribesmen dressed in their traditional native dress. If you want to pose with the natives, make sure that you're able to communicate with them about the payment fee first, before taking your photos- It really annoys me when you experience greedy commercialization in certain places.  There is no entrance fee in the park so you can enjoy walking here without paying extra. The place is so huge and you can really smell the freshness of the garden. You are going to see more flowers, plants, some high statue

I ♥ Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro 04/09/2011

I always love travelling and adventure but the experience that I had with Batangas Port Shipping lines made me think that personal safety and hassle free journey is the most important thing in travelling. It all happens late summer of July. My cousin (Dhen) invited me to go with her co-workers in Puerto Galera to unwind.  I heard a lot of good reviews about this place and the people that have been there compared its beauty just like in Boracay. I said yes immediately and didn’t think twice, from then on, I already imagine myself partying on the beach.  We planned to go there during weekends and will meet at four in the morning. We haven’t eaten breakfast yet so we just ordered from a fast food chain and ate it inside the bus. We arrived in Batangas Port around nine in the morning and we were welcome by a packed of tourist and long lines. I was really excited at first but then I immediately notice the disorganized system that made me realize that this travel would be a stres

I ♥ Mangrove Paddle Boat Tour 06/08/12

the sleeping giant mountain on the background The Mangrove Paddle Boat Tour is a highly recommended activity when in Palawan. Aside from being an educational tour, it will help make tourists realize "why" the province cradles many of the world's most clean and beautiful beaches and other natural wonders because of the bakawan or mangroves existence in the area. If you were not able to visit the Underground River this is a good detour. If there are a lot of tourist just like the time we arrived there, the boat will be boarded by10 people including the 2 boatman .   It's the first time I saw a woodpecker and a mangrove cat snake. I'm really not comfortable when the water became murky because i heard Palawan have wild crocodile that eats human. LOL One tourist even tried to scare a poisonous snake. WTF... Its a really nice detour though. It reminds me of Loboc river only with mangroves. Its also my first time to see the mangroves in a closer view.

I ♥ Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center 06/09/12

The third stop of our city tour was Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center also known as Crocodile Farm.  This place will bring you closer to the Reptile specie. The entrance fee is 40 pesos and a guide/personnel is going to tour you around the area. I was really scared when we went to the hatching area because the baby crocs were in an open cages. Our tour guide said that there were times that they will jump out of the cages. I can't imagine what to do if that happens.  The guide also sayd that all wild crocodiles in Palawan were captured and rescued here so they won't eat people again LOL.  They also have a mini zoo at the back of adult crocodile cages. The mini zoo feels like you were  in movie setting of twilight. Its really nice that they didn't cemented the area because it really feels like you're in a forrest. I would love to extend our stay here but we only have limited time for our city tour.
