I ♥ Something Fishy Eastwood 06/13/12




It was such a great experience dining at Somethin' Fishy in Eastwood Citywalk , Libis, Quezon City. I was with my friends from PoorMus (jitjit,kate,deb,ken and gracia) when I went there and we enjoyed it a lot.

 This was one of the rare bonding moments that we had and I always enjoy every minute of spending time with them. I don't know if they have the cheapest breakfast buffet in he metro but the quality of food wasn't compromised even with pretty low low price. 

 Their eat all you can buffet breakfast is available from 12am to 10am. The ambience is well lighted. In the wall, there are lots of pictures of a different fisherman that catches big fishes! They offer a lot of choices and will surely worth every penny spent.
How did we get there.


From McKinley we rode a taxi cab and ask him to drop us off in Eastwood, Quezon City. The fare is just 150 pesos and travel time is approximately 30 minutes or it depends on the traffic.


Suggested instructions if you are commuting to Eastwood. 
From South (edsa) 1. From EDSA get down at Ortigas Center
2. Take a jeep or bus that will pass by IPI
3. Get down at IPI then take Cubao Jeep(northbound)
4. Get down at Eastwood City


 From North (edsa)

1. From Edsa get down at Cubao
2. Walk to a street in between McDonalds & Fiesta Carnival)
3a. Ride jeep going to Rosario, St. Joseph or De Castro
3b. Ride FX going to St. Joseph (fx terminal is near Cinema 21)
4. Get Down at Eastwood CityFrom East (Antipolo, Cainta, Angono etc...)

1. Ride jeep/FX and get down at St. Joseph (infront of Ever Ortigas)
2. Take Cubao Jeep/FX
3. Get down at Eastwood City

From East (Marikina, San Mateo etc...)

1. Ride Jeep going to Cubao
2. Get down at Ligaya
3. At the opposite Side take Pasig Bound jeep then get down at floodway Tricycle terminal
4. take tricycle going to monark
5. Get down at Monark then walk northbound to Eastwood City (about 300-meter walk)

OR

1. Ride Jeep going to Cubao
2. Get down at Isetan then Walk to a street in between McDonalds & Fiesta Carnival)
3a. Ride jeep going to Rosario, St. Joseph or De Castro
3b. Ride FX going to St. Joseph (fx terminal is near Cinema 21)
4. Get Down at Eastwood City

From East (Pasig town proper, Sn Juaquin, Pateros etc...)

1. Ride Jeep/FX then get down at Bo. Ugong
2. Ride Jeep going to IPI
3. Ride Jeep from IPI going to Cubao (northbound)
From West (Sampaloc, Tondo, Binondo etc...)

1. Ride Jeep/FX going to Cubao
2. Go to a street in between McDonalds & Fiesta Carnival)
3a. Ride jeep going to Rosario, St. Joseph or De Castro
3b. Ride FX going to St. Joseph (fx terminal is near Cinema 21)
4. Get Down at Eastwood City

From West (Taft Ave Area, Sta. Ana, Sn. Andress Area)

1. From Herran (Pedro Gil) ride jeep/FX going to Sta. Ana/Tulay
2. Ride jeep going to Shaw Blvd.
3. Ride Jeep Going to Crossing
4. Ride Jeep/FX going Antipolo or St. Joseph/Ever or Taytay (make sure it will pass by IPI)

I always pray for good weather when planning an out-of-town trip, as a typhoon can easily disrupt carefully planned travels. Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Baguio Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Baguio was the first tourist spot I visited in this humble city. I went there last 2008 with my college friends and I really enjoyed our short stay there. There is no restriction in visiting the area. However, due to its gaining popularity they implemented policies that may annoy some first time travelers.  All visitors entering PMA must have individual valid IDs. A person without a valid ID can't enter PMA. If you're in a group and you don't have ID, you will be instructed to get off the jeepney at the gate and wait for your companions with IDs while they're enjoying the tour. Also, wearing slippers is a big no-no when you wanted to enter its premises. Even though you are wearing your expensive flip-flops the security personnel won't show any mercy and you may be force to await your companion at the gate.   Batis Aramin Lucban Quezon Batis Aramin Resort, Hotel and Adventure Camp is just one of the few resorts near my hometown Tayabas, Quezon. We went there when we visited the well-known Catholic Pilgrimage site called “Kamay ni Hesus” which lies on the foot of Mt. Banahaw last 2011. You won't be lost to find the place because it is just on the other side of the popular retreat camp Kamay ni Hesus which is located in Malupak, Lucban Quezon. We don't have enough money to pay the 100 pesos entrance fee but because we wanted to explore the place we just made an alibi to the security personnel that we just wanted to do an ocular visit and see if we wanted to stay. The security personnel was very kind and he let the 5 of us enter the vicinity we just left our ID's for record updating.  There were a lot of guess that time.
