I ♥ Batis Aramin Lucban Quezon 03/13/2011

Batis Aramin Lucban Quezon

Batis Aramin Resort, Hotel and Adventure Camp is just one of the few resorts near my hometown Tayabas, Quezon. We went there when we visited the well-known Catholic Pilgrimage site called “Kamay ni Hesus” which lies on the foot of Mt. Banahaw last 2011. You won't be lost to find the place because it is just on the other side of the popular retreat camp Kamay ni Hesus which is located in Malupak, Lucban Quezon.
We don't have enough money to pay the 100 pesos entrance fee but because we wanted to explore the place we just made an alibi to the security personnel that we just wanted to do an ocular visit and see if we wanted to stay. The security personnel was very kind and he let the 5 of us enter the vicinity we just left our ID's for record updating.
There were a lot of guess that time. I saw a lot of private cars with LaSalle University stickers probably they rented the place for retreat. I never expected the resort to be so beautiful and picturesque. Although this place is located nowhere near a beach, the wonderful landscape, elegant cottages and pools makes this equally a relaxing place to have your summer adventure.
Batis Aramin has a lot of fully air conditioned rooms and cottages, too many to mention. Ranging from a double occupancy attic room (PhP1,200) to a 26 capacity Amihan Hall (PhP11,000). Aside from the pools, Batis Aramin also has an adventure camp that allows a wide range of group activities like climbing the rappel wall, enjoying the zip-line, fishing and boating, riding a bike and playing in their basketball and badminton courts.

We wanted to swim in their pools but when we tried to dip our feet for temperature test and we weren't surprise to feel the ice cold water. The resort use the spring water coming from Mt. Banahaw just imagine taking a shower in Baguio City without using water heater.
The place is really big. The spaces between cottage houses, halls and pools are like two buildings apart from each other. If you're a type of person who enjoys walking then you'll fell in love with the place. The only advise that I could give is to bring everything that you need because the nearest convenience store is a kilometer away. Going to Batis Aramin is a good side trip if you are planning to go to Kamay ni Hesus and it's worth a visit.

How to get to "Batis Aramin" by commute:
For typical commuters going to Kamay ni Hesus in Lucban Quezon, if you are from Manila, just take any Bus bound to Lucena at LRT Buendia Bus Terminal on Taft Avenue, Cubao Bus Terminal or Muntinlupa Alabang Bus Terminal. Until you reached Lucena Grand Central Terminal, transfer on a jeepney bound to Lucban and perch at the Kamay ni Hesus Shrine. Batis Aramin is on the other side of the Shrine.
How to get to " Batis Aramin " by driving or bringing own vehicle:
From South Luzon Express way (SLEX) take Calamba exit, drive straight to Calamba city proper make a right turn at the junction. Again, drive straight on the highway passing by different town of Laguna, Los Banos, Bay, Victoria, Pila, Sta. Cruz and Pagsanjan. Until you reached Pagsanjan Church, make a right turn (Pagsanjan City Hall) heading to Luisiana town. Drive straight again towards Lucban, Quezon. Kamay ni Hesus shrine is highly visible large statue, more or less a kilometer away from Lucban town proper. Batis Aramin is on the other side of the Shrine.
