I ❤️ Moalboal Tropics Hotel - Cebu 2023 - 12-07-2023

Review of Moalboal Tropics Hotel:

We traveled for 5 hours from Cebu City to reach Moalboal, and the hotel was just 15 minutes away from the main road. Despite the scorching heat, we were pleased with the appearance of the resort upon entering. It was well-maintained, spacious, and adorned with lush greenery. Checking in at the reception was a breeze, and to our delight, they upgraded our room and allowed us to check in an hour earlier than expected. The staff at the hotel were fantastic, providing excellent service throughout our stay.

The rooms at Moalboal Tropics Hotel are spacious and clean, although some fixtures, such as the showers, could use a bit of maintenance. The cabinets could also benefit from a more thorough cleaning. However, the room had an air purifier and a TV, and the temperature was perfect. We did encounter some mosquitoes in the room, but we couldn't figure out where they came from. On the bright side, our room had a fantastic view of the pool, which was a great place to relax and cool off after a long day of snorkeling at the beach.

The breakfast provided at the hotel was decent, although it could use some updating in terms of the menu. The location of the hotel is a bit far from Panagsama Beach, but if you're seeking peace and quiet, it's a suitable choice. We felt secure during our stay, as there were 24-hour guards on duty. The Wi-Fi connection was intermittent but decent overall. It's worth noting that the water from the faucet had a slight smell of ocean water, which is expected in a resort near the beach.

While there were a few maintenance issues with fixtures like the shower head and the air conditioning, the bedsheets and linens were very clean. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Moalboal Tropics Hotel and would definitely consider returning in the future.
