Pitogo Cliff: Where the Waves Crash and the Sunshine Girls Shine

We, the Sunshine Girls, are blessed with a peculiar kind of magic. We attract sunshine like moths to a flame, and even the most formidable typhoons seem to bow to our optimistic spirit. So, when a storm threatened to dampen our Wet Tour Day 2 in Siquijor, we held onto our belief that the sun would eventually peek through the clouds. And, wouldn't you know it, our wish manifested!

After conquering the whimsical broomsticks of Hapitanan and the cascading beauty of Cambugahay Falls, we found ourselves at Pitogo Cliff, our first stop on the itinerary, but one we had to postpone due to the torrential downpour. As the rain subsided and the sun timidly emerged, we were greeted by a sight that was both awe-inspiring and a little bit terrifying.

Pitogo Cliff, with its 50-peso entrance fee, is a quirky and otherworldly place. The alien landscape, carved by the relentless force of the ocean, is a testament to nature's raw power. But what truly captivated us were the waves. They crashed against the cliff face with a thunderous roar, reaching heights of 20 feet, like angry giants eager to claim their next victim. We, however, were not quite ready to embrace our inner daredevils and take the plunge. Besides, cliff jumping is strictly forbidden, and frankly, even for a group of sunshine-loving adventurers like us, that seemed a tad too insane.

Despite the lack of cliff-diving action, Pitogo Cliff is a photographer's paradise. The dramatic landscape, the crashing waves, and the sheer force of nature make for some truly captivating shots. We even took advantage of the experienced staff who were on hand to capture our best angles and most dramatic poses. The anticipation of seeing our photos and videos was enough to make us giddy with excitement.

Pitogo Cliff is more than just a scenic spot; it's a place where you can let your emotions flow freely. The sound of the waves crashing against the rocks is a symphony of nature's power, and it's impossible not to feel a surge of energy and emotion as you stand on the edge of the cliff. It's a place where you can shout your heart out, let your worries wash away with the tide, and embrace the wild beauty of the natural world.

So, if you find yourself in Siquijor, don't miss the opportunity to visit Pitogo Cliff. It's a place where the sunshine girls shine, the waves crash, and the memories are made.
