I ❤️ El Nido Palawan 2024 - 05/04/2024 - Day 2

🏝️ Palawan Adventure - DAY 2: Underground River - 05/04/2024 🏝️

Our second day in Palawan was nothing short of an exciting exploration! With an early start, we woke up at 5 am to prepare for our much-anticipated Underground River tour, organized by Cliffs Diving Agency. After a quick breakfast of coffee and bread from the night before, we eagerly awaited the van's arrival at 7 am, ready to embark on our adventure.

Checking out of our hotel, we embarked on the tour and made a stopover at Buenavista View Deck. Captivated by the breathtaking panoramic views and in need of a quick break, we took the opportunity for photo ops and a much-needed comfort room break.

At 9:30 am, we arrived at Sabang Wharf and patiently waited for our boat ride to the Underground River. After a 30-minute wait, we boarded boat #31 that transported us to the starting point of the Underground River tour. The scorching heat left us feeling tired, but the anticipation overshadowed any discomfort. The humidity led me to remove my shirt, seeking relief from the tropical climate.

By 11 am, our Underground River tour officially commenced. Equipped with audio recordings that enhanced our experience, our boatman expertly guided us through the enchanting cave, pointing out different rock formations, stalactites, and stalagmites along the way. The 45-minute tour allowed us to immerse ourselves in the beauty of the Underground River's natural wonders.

After concluding the tour at 1 pm, we returned to Sabang Wharf to indulge in a satisfying buffet lunch at Gusto Grill Restaurant, which was included in our tour package. The flavors of Palawan cuisine delighted our taste buds and replenished our energy for the next part of our journey.

Next, we hopped on a van to Salvacion Junction, where we had a much-needed comfort break before waiting for our van transfer to El Nido. Although waiting can be tiresome, we made the most of it, hydrating ourselves and recharging for the rest of our adventure.

Finally, at 4:30 pm, our van transported us from Salvacion Junction to El Nido, making a stop at Rickzas Restaurant in Roxas for an early dinner and another comfort break. Sipping on refreshing Buko juice and enjoying a cup of coffee, we fueled ourselves for the remaining journey.

Arriving at the El Nido terminal at 8:30 pm, we eagerly hopped on a tricycle and made our way to Chariz Inn, where we checked in for the night. Although it was late, the day wasn't over just yet - we couldn't resist the temptation of a delicious late-night dinner at Portos Fiesta El Nido. We relished Sinigang Lapu Lapu, Sisig, and topped off our meal with a refreshing Halo-halo dessert.

With full bellies and hearts filled with adventure, we returned to the hotel to freshen up with a relaxing bath. Resting for the night, we eagerly anticipated the next day's tour, excited for the new memories that awaited us.

Stay tuned for more updates on our Palawan adventure as we continue to explore the wonders of this tropical paradise! ✨🌊❤️ #PalawanAdventure2024 #Day2Explorations #BeautifulCavesandDeliciousCuisine #pepingtravels
