Balabac Palawan 2024 - Day 3: Island Hopping Adventure Begins!

Rise and shine, fellow adventurers! Day 3 of our Balabac Palawan expedition was set to be a day of island hopping bliss, and we started it with an early wake-up call at 2 am. Despite the early hour, our excitement propelled us as we prepared for what lay ahead.

 
At 2:30 am, we eagerly awaited the arrival of the VAN service that would escort us to Buliluyan Port in Balabac. The journey was filled with anticipation as we discussed the adventures to come.
 

Arriving at Narra canteen, we indulged in a super early breakfast, fueling ourselves for the day's adventures. Energized and ready to go, we reached Buliluyan Port around 7 am, where we registered at the tourism office and eagerly awaited the passenger boat that would transport us to Balabac.

 

After boarding the passenger boat, the excitement heightened as we transferred to a tourist boat amidst the vast ocean. The gentle sea breeze and the tranquil surroundings created a sense of serenity as we embarked on our Balabac Island Tour 1.

 
Our first stop was at Canimeran Island, where we relished a delicious lunch amidst the stunning natural beauty that enveloped us. The flavors of the meal paired perfectly with the breathtaking views, truly a feast for the senses.
 

Next, we made our way to Patawan Island, where we treated ourselves to a satisfying combination of noodles and vanilla coke. As we enjoyed this delightful snack, we also took the opportunity to settle the remaining tour balance, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience.

 

Continuing our island hopping adventure, we arrived at Sicsican Island, our base for the day. We checked in and participated in a comprehensive orientation to familiarize ourselves with the tour offerings and safety guidelines.

 
As the evening descended upon us, we savored a delicious dinner at Sicsican Island, indulging in a delectable meal that showcased the local flavors of Balabac. Each bite was a celebration of the island's culinary offerings.
 

After dinner, we freshened up, allowing the cool sea breeze and the rhythmic sounds of the ocean to lull us into a peaceful slumber. Our bodies and minds were ready for the excitement that awaited us on the following day.

 

With the island hopping adventure officially underway, we eagerly anticipated what the rest of our Balabac Palawan exploration had in store. Stay tuned for more breathtaking sights, thrilling experiences, and memorable moments as we continue to uncover the treasures of this tropical paradise!

Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Baguio Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Baguio was the first tourist spot I visited in this humble city. I went there last 2008 with my college friends and I really enjoyed our short stay there. There is no restriction in visiting the area. However, due to its gaining popularity they implemented policies that may annoy some first time travelers.  All visitors entering PMA must have individual valid IDs. A person without a valid ID can't enter PMA. If you're in a group and you don't have ID, you will be instructed to get off the jeepney at the gate and wait for your companions with IDs while they're enjoying the tour. Also, wearing slippers is a big no-no when you wanted to enter its premises. Even though you are wearing your expensive flip-flops the security personnel won't show any mercy and you may be force to await your companion at the gate.   Batis Aramin Lucban Quezon Batis Aramin Resort, Hotel and Adventure Camp is just one of the few resorts near my hometown Tayabas, Quezon. We went there when we visited the well-known Catholic Pilgrimage site called “Kamay ni Hesus” which lies on the foot of Mt. Banahaw last 2011. You won't be lost to find the place because it is just on the other side of the popular retreat camp Kamay ni Hesus which is located in Malupak, Lucban Quezon. We don't have enough money to pay the 100 pesos entrance fee but because we wanted to explore the place we just made an alibi to the security personnel that we just wanted to do an ocular visit and see if we wanted to stay. The security personnel was very kind and he let the 5 of us enter the vicinity we just left our ID's for record updating.  There were a lot of guess that time.
