I ♥ Enchanted Kingdom - Sta. Rosa Laguna 10.18.08

Image
When I was still in Tayabas, Quezon a friend (Michael) told his story about his experience going to Enchanted Kingdom (EK). I was so fascinated because he also brought the EK map with him and comically told his adventures on the rides. I was so envious that time because we were not that rich and I know that going to an amusement park is not my family's priority. Ever since then I promise to myself that I will also experience EK and I will treasure every moment of it.   Ten years have passed and my family already moved in Metro Manila to find better opportunity. I was lucky enough that I found a job in a call center (Telekyeme) in Ortigas and was earning decent money. A friend (Patty) from college wanted to have a get together and asked us if we wanted to go to EK. I said yes and never think twice because my dream of coming to EK will finally be able to come true.   One of my fears was getting lost and not knowing what to do. I am not an adventurous person then and asking for di

I ♥ Baywalk, Mall of Asia Pasay 7/7/2012

I really love watching the sun while it sets on the beach. I never get tired of seeing the sun sinking in the horizon and leaving us with lovely colors.  The only problem is that beaches are really far from the city, but not in Manila. You might have experienced going to Manila Bay or Baywalk in Mall of Asia (MOA) Pasay City to see the sunset and that’s what I just did when I visited Baywalk Mall of Asia.    Baywalk is located at the back of Mall of Asia. It is the place to go if you want to unwind and see the famous Manila Bay Sunse t.  You will see a lot of food establishments and recreational activities in the area. People will enjoy riding the MOA eye (a Ferris wheel) and Zip line activity. One thing that you should not miss is the fireworks display every Fridays, Saturdays and special occasions at 7:00pm. Families and couples will surely enjoy their stay here.    I was meeting a friend (Dux) here to watch a movie (Abraham Lincoln Vampire Diaries), after that we wanted to

I ♥ Bonifacio Global City 07/06/12

I’ve been living in Taguig City for 10 years now and I’ve witnessed how this city has become one of the most progressive in the metropolis. Taguig City is located east of the City of Manila and is part of the National Capital Region. Bonifacio Global City (BGC) is its premier business district which is a former army camp developed into one of the most promising urban centers in Metro Manila. There are three big shopping and dining places that are near each other in BGC. The first one is Market! Market!, the next is Serendra, and the third is the Bonifacio High Street. One of my friends asked me to organize a meeting of our close friends in Poormus. Being a natural party planner I contacted everyone that was available and asked them to meet at Bonifacio Global City. Our meeting place was at Market! Market!, where our former company is located (Poormus). The place is always crowded because it caters the masses and the price of goods here were very cheap compared to other establishment

I ♥ Club Manila East - TayTay Rizal 08/16/2008

Image
My college friends planned a quick fix to beat the summer heat and we wanted to go out of town without spending a lot. A friend recommends that we should try Club Manila East and she was right.   Club Manila East is located in the Municipality of Taytay, Rizal. We rode a public transport via G-Liner Bus bound to Taytay Rizal, fare is just 40 pesos from Robinsons Galleria and the travel time took us approximately 40 minutes.   The resort is open from 8am to 5pm during day swimming. Entrance fee is P500.00/pax; free for kids below 3 ft. For overnight accommodations, guests can stay at rooms/villas from 2pm to 11am for P3,300/2pax/free breakfast. Pay P700.00/extra pax. Maximum of 4 pax/room.   One thing we enjoyed the most in these resort were their several pools and water facilities. They have Olympic Size pool, A Giant pool 19,000 sq ft and a Wave pool that which were very safe for kids and those who are not good in swimming. They have surfing instructor and kayakl/zipline. The prob

I ♥ Morong, Bataan 01/23/2010

Morong Bataan There is a time in your life where you inspired to explore the world around you. In my case it came when I joined a team building in Bataan Province. I could say that this started my need to travel from different places.  The Bataan team building started from the other team’s plan to have a get together out of town; unfortunately their team lead wasn't able to attend because of family matters so they've decided to ask us if we could go with them. I really wanted to go because this is going to be my first out of town trip for 2009.    After our shift we waited for the team to assemble in Market Market Taguig and after 30 minutes everyone is good to go. We rented two vans to accommodate 20 people. We first went to a farm in Bataan to prepare the food that we were going to eat. The farm is a two hour drive from Bataan and we enjoyed the time we spent there. Our first plan was to go to Camayan Beach Resort in Subic; however most the resort rooms wer

I ♥ The Mind Museum - Bonifacio Global City 07/06/2012

We had a great time walking around BGC and we've decided to take a break at McDonalds 32nd St. After eating our snack, we still don't want to go home yet so Jitjit, Gracia and I went to the Mind Museum in BGC. It is just two blocks away from McDonalds.  We just walk to get there for us to kill boredom. The first thing we noticed is its impressive architecture. It's nice to see that we also have a modern and stylish structure in the city.  We also saw a Jollibee Branch at the ground floor. The Jollibee is very sleek- looking and has a very futuristic vibe which goes very well with the mind museum.  We asked the guards enthusiastically about the museum's entrance fee and we found out that it will cost us 600 pesos each. Because we are out of pocket already, we just asked him if we could take pictures in the entrance. Luckily, our charm works and he allowed us to take some pictures inside.  We also took some photos inside the Museum Store. We found out tha
