I ❤️ Boracay - Day 2 - Water Tour - 11/16/2024

Boracay Day 2: From Jetski Mishaps to Sunset Bliss (and a Spicy Chicken Detour)

Day two in Boracay promised adventure, and it delivered – with a healthy dose of chaos thrown in for good measure. We started the day with a hearty breakfast buffet, fueling up for a day of water sports. The plan was simple: jetskiing and parasailing, capturing every exhilarating moment on our trusty 360-degree camera.

But as they say, the best-laid plans... well, you know the rest. We arrived at Bulabog Beach, ready to conquer the waves, only to discover our camera had decided to take a vacation of its own (memory card failure, anyone?). This minor setback did little to dampen our spirits, though. We hopped on the jetskis, the wind whipping through our hair, the sun warming our faces. It was pure bliss, even if we couldn't capture the moment on film.

After our thrilling water adventure, we headed back to the hotel, pockets lighter but spirits high. A quick dip in the pool, a few snacks from the grocery store, and we were ready for the sunset cruise. But fate, it seems, had other plans. A call from our tour guide informed us that the cruise was cancelled due to rough seas.

Disappointed but not defeated, we decided to make the most of the situation. We settled into our hotel room, watching the sun paint the sky with fiery hues. Then, we ventured out to White Beach, the golden sand shimmering beneath the setting sun. We snapped countless photos, capturing the breathtaking beauty of the moment.

Dinner was a bit of a rollercoaster. Queen Bee, our initial choice, didn't quite hit the spot for Badet, so we opted for a change of plans. Spice Bird, with its tempting Piri-Piri chicken (think Peri Peri, but with a Filipino twist), saved the day.

The evening ended with a trip to McDonald's for some sweet treats and a final trike ride back to the hotel. We crawled into bed, exhausted but exhilarated, ready to face whatever adventures awaited us on Day 3.

Budget Breakdown:

- Transportation: 300 pesos (trike rides)
- Water Activities: 8000 pesos (jetski and parasailing)
- Tips: 400 pesos
- Snacks: 100 pesos
- Dinner: 1950 pesos
- Dessert: 105 pesos

Total: 10,755 pesos

Lessons Learned:

- Always check your camera memory card before a big adventure.
- Don't let a cancelled cruise ruin your day – there's always a plan B (or in our case, a plan C).
- Spice Bird's Piri-Piri chicken is a must-try!

Stay tuned for Day 3, where we explore more of Boracay's hidden gems!
