I ❤️ Boracay 2024 - Day 4 - End of Tour

Boracay 2024 Day 4: Back to Manila – A Whirlwind Farewell   Okay, so Day 4 in Boracay was all about the bittersweet goodbye. The alarm screamed at 4 am – brutal, I know – but the thought of that last Boracay sunrise kept me going. A quick freshen-up, a frantic bag-packing session (seriously, how do I always manage to accumulate so much stuff?), and I was ready to roll.   First stop: Laud's breakfast buffet. Let me tell you, it was the perfect send-off. Think mountains of delicious pastries, tropical fruits bursting with flavour, and enough coffee to fuel a small army. I seriously piled my plate high – one last chance to indulge in that Boracay goodness!   By 7 am, it was time to face the reality of leaving paradise. A trike ride to the Boracay port cost me 150 pesos – a small price to pay, really. Then came the inevitable: paying the terminal fee again (seriously, these fees add up!). The boat transfer was another 540 pesos, plu...

Boracay Day 3: Island Hopping, Chicken Feasts, and a Little "Budol"   Day 3 in Boracay was all about exploring the island and indulging in some delicious Filipino food. We started with a hearty breakfast buffet at Laud Restaurant, setting the stage for a day of adventure.   Our Itinerary:   - Mangrove Forest: We took a relaxing stroll through the mangrove forest, enjoying the lush greenery and calm waters. - Bulabog Beach: Benigno got his hair braided by two local artists, creating a masterpiece of braids. Unfortunately, the iconic tree was crowded with people trying to get the perfect photo op. - Sinagpa and Doniwid Beach: We snapped tons of pictures at these beautiful beaches, soaking up the sunshine. - Key Hole and New Coast Beach: More picturesque scenery and photo opportunities! - Puka Beach: This hidden gem lived up to the hype with soft sand, crystal-clear water, and a relaxing vibe. We even managed to squeeze in ...

Boracay Day 2: From Jetski Mishaps to Sunset Bliss (and a Spicy Chicken Detour)   Day two in Boracay promised adventure, and it delivered – with a healthy dose of chaos thrown in for good measure. We started the day with a hearty breakfast buffet, fueling up for a day of water sports. The plan was simple: jetskiing and parasailing, capturing every exhilarating moment on our trusty 360-degree camera.   But as they say, the best-laid plans... well, you know the rest. We arrived at Bulabog Beach, ready to conquer the waves, only to discover our camera had decided to take a vacation of its own (memory card failure, anyone?). This minor setback did little to dampen our spirits, though. We hopped on the jetskis, the wind whipping through our hair, the sun warming our faces. It was pure bliss, even if we couldn't capture the moment on film.   After our thrilling water adventure, we headed back to the hotel, pockets lighter but spirits h...

Boracay 2024 Day 2: A Day of Thrills, Slpills, and Surprisingly Chlorine-Free Pools: The Disney Princess Edition   Our Boracay 2024 adventure continued on Day 2 with a thrilling dose of adrenaline. Parasailing and jet skiing had left us soaked, windswept, and utterly exhilarated. But the adventure wasn't over yet! Picture this: a graceful scramble onto a speedboat – surprisingly smooth compared to the bumpy ride back from our water activities – the salty spray kissing our faces as we zipped back to Bulabog Beach, looking like a couple of drenched Disney princesses. The speedboat ride itself was a mini-adventure, a blur of turquoise water and salty air.   Next came the tricycle ride back to the hotel. This time, it was pure bliss – a smooth, gentle ride compared to the choppy speedboat. We relaxed, enjoying the tropical breeze, our slightly dampened spirits (and clothes!) feeling much improved. It was a graceful arrival, a far cry from our previous, wate...

Boracay 2024 Travel Vlog: Day 2 - Parasailing and Other Slightly Terrifying Delights   Day two in Boracay started with a bang – or rather, a series of zooms and near-misses. My carefully planned itinerary involving leisurely strolls and mango shakes took an unexpected turn.   First, there was the jet ski. Jetski Staff, as I’ve decided to call him (because everyone deserves a name, right?), was a feisty little beast. I’m pretty sure he was judging my driving skills, which were, to put it mildly, non-existent. I managed to stay upright, mostly, and even executed a few (admittedly wobbly) turns. Jetski Staff, however, seemed less than impressed.   Next up: the speedboat. This wasn’t your average, gentle putt-putt. This was a Sumo-wrestling-champion-on-water kind of speedboat. The ride to the parasailing platform felt like a James Bond movie, only instead of suave sophistication, I was clinging to the side, shouting like I was on a rollercoaster ride...
