I ♥ Ayala Center Cebu City 11/07/2011

Ayala Center Cebu City I thought that we were not going to any malls in Cebu because we were on a vacation. Out of town trips should be about having fun outdoors, without the hassle of a crowded and polluted city.  I know that going to a mall is a big no-no for a typical traveler but I really had a great time seeing the version of Ayala mall in Cebu City.    Going to the mall is always a great place to spend quality time with your family and with the beautiful boutiques and café’s around the area; one will definitely enjoy the activities Ayala Center Cebu can offer. Ayala Center Cebu is one of the beautiful buildings built in the heart of Cebu City. When someone visits Cebu they will surely not miss going to this place. The commercial, cultural and political core of Southern Philippines, Ayala Center Cebu is the region’s premier shopping, dining and entertainment destination. Ayala Center Cebu is like a combination of Greenbelt and Serendra. Newly expanded to provide more rew

I ♥ Botanical Garden Baguio 12/12/2010

Baguio Botanical Garden     Botanical Garden is also known as the Igorot village. It is the place where you can see the Native Nipa huts where the Igorot people live. It’s a very tranquil and relaxing place. We were welcome by the “Builders of Baguio” monument stands her to commemorate the city’s founding in 1908.   The park also showcases the city’s rich flora & fauna, and serves as a site of cultural activities. Tourists can frequently take pictures with the Igorot tribesmen dressed in their traditional native dress. If you want to pose with the natives, make sure that you're able to communicate with them about the payment fee first, before taking your photos- It really annoys me when you experience greedy commercialization in certain places.  There is no entrance fee in the park so you can enjoy walking here without paying extra. The place is so huge and you can really smell the freshness of the garden. You are going to see more flowers, plants, some high statue

I ♥ Agoo La Union 02/20/2010

In Filipino culture, travelling is always done in groups because you'll save a lot of time and money, but there will always be a time in your life that you wanted to travel alone. I've never been able to travel alone and I'm really curious experiencing it. I really think that a solo travel brings its own set of joys and challenges that will eventually leads to an extra-ordinary experience. I was lucky because a friend invited me to visit their place in Agoo La Union. It's been a while now since I traveled to a different place and I can't resist the free invite. I will be their guest and with free food and a bed to sleep on, how can I reject such offer? The only problem is that I don't have someone who can go with me. Because my feet were really itching for my next adventure I accepted his offer and filed the necessary vacation leaves I needed. I already prepared the things that I need for the said travel so after my shift ended, I said my goodbyes to my frie

I ♥ Basilica del Sto. Nino Cebu City 11/05/2011

After we visited the Metropolitan Cathedral Church we headed to Sto. Nino Church to visit the Magellan’s Cross. We just commuted to get there and lucky for us we weren't lost because my friend knows the direction. After walking for almost 15 minutes we were welcome by a very familiar fast food chains and busy street.  On the other side of the busy street lies the famous Basilica Minore del Sto. Nino. It was Sunday that time and I wasn't surprise to see a lot of people attending the mass. I really respect the Cebuano’s for being religious. Basilica Minore del Santo Niño, a 16th century old Roman Catholic Church, known to be the oldest church in the Philippines. It was built purportedly on the spot where the image of the Santo Niño, a sculpture depicting the Holy Child Jesus done in the style of Flanders found by Spanish explorers of Legazpi Expedition of 1565. The image was allegedly preserved in a burnt wooden box which was left behind during the 1521 Magellan expedition.
