I thought that we were not going to any malls in Cebu because we were on a vacation. Out of town trips should be about having fun outdoors, without the hassle of a crowded and polluted city. I know that going to a mall is a big no-no for a typical traveler but I really had a great time seeing the version of Ayala mall in Cebu City.   Going to the mall is always a great place to spend quality time with your family and with the beautiful boutiques and café’s around the area; one will definitely enjoy the activities Ayala Center Cebu can offer.


Ayala Center Cebu is one of the beautiful buildings built in the heart of Cebu City. When someone visits Cebu they will surely not miss going to this place. The commercial, cultural and political core of Southern Philippines, Ayala Center Cebu is the region’s premier shopping, dining and entertainment destination. Ayala Center Cebu is like a combination of Greenbelt and Serendra. Newly expanded to provide more rewarding experiences a midst a masterfully-designed space, it offers only well-thought-of retail and leisure choices embodying the discriminating and distinctive taste of the Cebuanos.


If it’s your first time in Cebu City never expect people living in rural community. The people here are far from what I've expected. They are just like the typical Manileno's  but speaking a different dialect. Cebuano’s love their own dialect, the fact that I  had a hard time communicating with them because they are not use to speak Tagalog. I don’t know how to speak Cebuano and I realized how important it is to learn someone’s dialect.

Cebu City is already progressing and you will notice the development of the area; from its high rise buildings, booming businesses and BPO companies. The great thing with Cebu City is that I felt that I’m not far from home. It is just like Makati or The Fort specially if you are in the Ayala Center Cebu.

I always pray for good weather when planning an out-of-town trip, as a typhoon can easily disrupt carefully planned travels. Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Baguio Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Baguio was the first tourist spot I visited in this humble city. I went there last 2008 with my college friends and I really enjoyed our short stay there. There is no restriction in visiting the area. However, due to its gaining popularity they implemented policies that may annoy some first time travelers.  All visitors entering PMA must have individual valid IDs. A person without a valid ID can't enter PMA. If you're in a group and you don't have ID, you will be instructed to get off the jeepney at the gate and wait for your companions with IDs while they're enjoying the tour. Also, wearing slippers is a big no-no when you wanted to enter its premises. Even though you are wearing your expensive flip-flops the security personnel won't show any mercy and you may be force to await your companion at the gate.   Batis Aramin Lucban Quezon Batis Aramin Resort, Hotel and Adventure Camp is just one of the few resorts near my hometown Tayabas, Quezon. We went there when we visited the well-known Catholic Pilgrimage site called “Kamay ni Hesus” which lies on the foot of Mt. Banahaw last 2011. You won't be lost to find the place because it is just on the other side of the popular retreat camp Kamay ni Hesus which is located in Malupak, Lucban Quezon. We don't have enough money to pay the 100 pesos entrance fee but because we wanted to explore the place we just made an alibi to the security personnel that we just wanted to do an ocular visit and see if we wanted to stay. The security personnel was very kind and he let the 5 of us enter the vicinity we just left our ID's for record updating.  There were a lot of guess that time.
