I ♥ Tamaraw and White Beach Oriental Mindoro 19/29/2011

Puerto Galera is a tourist favorite for its numerous beaches, snorkeling spots, and diving destinations. Aside from the most popular beach here “White Beach” one can also try the beauty of Tamarraw beach which is just a five-minute walk from Puerto Galera’s White Beach.     If you are already fed up with the crowd of people this is the right place for still quietness. The quiet and private beach front is what captivated us in this resort.     It is also an easy access to Aninuan falls if you plan to go there by walking. The only resort in its area is exclusively owned by Tamaraw Beach Resort. If the resorts in white beach were already fully booked you can try to scout for a vacant room here and enjoy the privacy of the area. We asked about the hotel accommodations here and it’s a bit pricey compared to the hotels from white beach. The experience in the hotel boasting relaxing beachfront accommodations will not turn you off spending a bit. This is the best place to view the

I ♥ Camp John Hay Baguio 12/12/2010

As a first time traveler in Baguio city nothing will complete your visit if you haven’t been to Camp John Hay. It was our first destination for our Baguio City Tour and I really felt the Baguio Moment with all the pine trees around, beautiful landscapes, the cool climate and very peaceful ambiance.  The place is so huge with its hotels, private vacation houses, shopping center with restaurants and stores and convention centers.  It also offers recreational activities and attractions such as horseback riding, zip line, rappel, paint ball, butterfly garden, picnic areas/cottages and Art Park are also available.  We’re only able to explore some of its areas due to limited time. For me, the best spot in Camp John Hay is the Starbucks Branch.   I’m not a huge fan of drinking coffee but whenever my friends wanted to chill we always stop in its branches. We probably discovered the quaintest Starbucks coffee shop we’ve ever visited. Instead of the usual modern glass structure, Sta

I ♥ Ocean View Beach Resort - Subic Zambales 10/31/2010

There is nothing more satisfying than to spend an entire weekend on a beach with the company of some great friends. That's what we exactly did when we went to Subic. It was Jitjit’s birthday when he invited us to go to their place in Subic, Zambales. He’s been away in Manila for a year already and we really wanted to see him.  Gracia, Ken my sister (Badet) and me met in Market Market and went to Victory Liners Pasay bound to Olongapo. From Manila, we took the bus going to Subic. It was roughly a 3-hour trip. We weren’t bored the entire trip. Thanks to music; traveling long hours on the road is not much of a struggle. It’s touchdown in Subic Bay Freeport Zone at around 5pm.  We bought a birthday cake for Jitjit and met him in Goldilocks. Jitjit introduced Tomtom to us, his current love interest that time and we headed straight to their house to meet Jitjit’s family. We sang happy birthday before eating the food that was served to us. After dinner, Gracia wanted to go nigh

I ♥ Enchanted Cave, Bolinao Pangasinan 03/05/2011

I am not a fan of cave exploring. It is dark, wet, dirty, crawling with creatures, dangerous and is not safe for equipment. There is something inside the cave that is very mysterious. The eerie silence and droplets of water from stalactites makes me think something unknown is lurking inside. But whenever my itchy feet tells me to be a bit adventurous I will always try something new, that’s what I just did in Bolinao, Pangasinan. I thought that we were just going to Bolinao to enjoy the beach but to my surprise Bolinao is also famous for its caves. A friend is celebrating her birthday and asked us to celebrate with her in Patar Bolinao Pangasinan. We had a great time on our first day partying on the resort hotel we rented and visiting the caves of Bolinao will be our next itinerary.  We rented a van so going to different places wouldn’t be a hassle.    Our first stop after eating breakfast is Enchanted Cave. It is just a 20 minute ride from our hotel. It is the largest cave among
